o My solo show “Surrealectric” is opening October 14th, thru November 14th, 2022. “Surrealectric – Intricate digital dreamscapes for the 21st century”. Surrealectric is a first of its kind all digital art exhibition to be held at Glass Growers Gallery. The show will also include another first, a limited-edition 3D stereo kit with images and a special 3D viewer.

o I was asked to take part in an invitation only group show at 10/20 Collective. An Art as Activism show featuring artists Shelle Barron, Tom Ferraro, Cathy Ferraro, Jade Mitchell, Greg Zbach, John Vahanian, Deb Sementelli, Michelle Vitali, Jennifer Reed, Rachel Wilson, Sarah MK Moody, Chelsea Morning, Genevieve DeRose, Kris Risto and more.. The show is titled “Let’s StART A Movement” and opens September 30th, 2022.

o My work “Loominous” was accepted into the 99th annual Nicole & Harry Martin Spring Show juried by Jessica Hong, curator of modern and contemporary art at the Toledo Museum of Art. 212 artists entered over 450 works. The exhibition includes 76 artists and 79 works. My work has now been juried into 5 Spring shows. The show will be up from April 8th through August 5th, 2022.

o I have been elected as the President of Northwestern Pennsylvania Artists Association or NPAA for a 2-year term in February of 2022. This is a proud moment for me since the NPAA is the premiere art group in our community with over 100 quality artists represented.

o Organized and ran my first NPAA Biennial as Exhibitions chair. the Biennial ran from October 1st thru December 22nd, 2021 In the Erie Art Museum Customs House. This was a juried show with cash awards.

o I was picked for Senior Artist of the month for the March 2021 issue of the Tri-State Senior Newspaper. I have five works at Traditions Unlimited as artist of month and an article in tri-state senior news that included two of my works printed along with my artist statement.

o I am in an invitation only group show at Glass Growers Gallery featuring five other artists Laura Gooley, Hiromi Katayama, Jason Floyd Lewis, Eddie Mitchell, Dennis Revitzky. The show titled “Branching Out” and is Supporting Lake Erie Arboretum at Frontier’s ReLeaf Initiative. Art Show Dates: March 20 – May 4, 2021.

o I have 2 new works in an on line only show on the PASNWPA website called “Celebration of Life”. the exhibition starts on September 18th, 2020 and ends in January of 2021.

o I have a piece in the NPAA show, “A Sense of Place” at 1020 Holland called 10/20 Collective. This was my first show as the NPAA exhibitions chairperson. Covid killed a number of shows NPAA planned. I really do enjoy organizing and hanging shows. The show included black and white photos from the Inner-City Neighborhood Art House taught by Lourdes Jasso. the show dates are Friday August 14th thru September 11th, 2020.

o I am very excited to introduce my new website today, 4-17-20. I needed to learn Word Press from scratch and since I had extra time during the virus lock down, it allowed me to devote the resources required to create a proper site. I have been pining for this moment for 5 years…..hence the excitement. Please enjoy but keep in mind there is more to come.

o Two of Greg Zbach’s works,”Rail’s End” and “Copper Drops”, were accepted into the Northwestern Pennsylvania Artists Association Juried Member Exhibition to be held at Crary Art Gallery in Warren, Pa. from February 1st thru the 29th, 2020. Reception on the 1st. There were 121 works entered by 48 artists. The show includes 27 works by 19 artists. The juror, Paula Burleigh, teaches Art History at Allegheny College, and serves as director of the Allegheny College Art Galleries. She earned her PhD from the CUNY Graduate Center in New York, NY, while serving as a Senior Teaching Fellow at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Also in New York, Burleigh taught adult education courses at the Museum of Modern Art. Burleigh’s writing has appeared in the Brooklyn Rail, Artforum.com, Stedelijk Studies and Art Journal.

o Greg has 3 pieces in the PASNWPA art show at the Octagon Gallery in Westfield, N.Y.. reception on February 21st and show goes from 02-21-20 thru 03-20-20. The show is titled “Beauty Unbound”.

o 3 of Greg’s works are included in the PASNWPA art show at V Gallery. reception on 12-6-2019 gallery nite and show goes from 12-6-19 thru 12-30-19. The show is titled “PASMWPA Holiday Show”.

o Greg has assumed the position of exhibition chair for NPAA with Kris Risto as alternate 12-08-19.

o Greg was asked to participate in a show with Gail Beem; Leah Humphries; Amy Hahn; Hiromi Katayama; Joyce Perowicz; Lynn Fizel; and Fran Noonan at Glass Growers Gallery for christmas. The dates are 11/22 to 1/9/2020. The artist reception & gallery night is 12/6 Friday. The exhibition is called “Our Favorite Things Show”.

o One of Greg’s works, “Shoreline Light”, was accepted into the juried NPAA Biennial at the Erie Art Museum. Juror Professor Henry Adams is a graduate of Harvard University, and received his M.A. and PH.D. from Yale, where he received the Frances Blanshard Prize for the best doctoral dissertation in art history. He is the author of over 300 scholarly and popular articles, ranging over the American field from the 17th century to the present, as well as of about 14 books or book-length exhibition catalogues. 78 artists entered 159 works. 92 works were accepted by 68 artists.. Soft opening is November 1st from 6 to 9. Gallery Night Opening December 6th 7 to 10. The show is up thru the end of January 2020.

o Greg’s “Color Cascade” and “Copper Drops” are part of the NPAA Blues and Jazz Exhibition at Leaf Arbortium. 8-2 thru 8-4-19. .

o The show opening for invitation only “Cats and Dogs” exhibition at Campbell Potteryis on 8-3-19; show closes 9-1-19; I submitted Basking, Greg included “Cat Channel” and “Day Tripper”.

o Francis T Schanz 20th annual NPAA Scholarship Exhibition at Courtyard Marriott Ambassador Conference Center Hemingway Ball Room will take place on 7-24-19. Greg submitted 2 works including “Perfect Landing” and “Dragonfly Blues” as part of art lottery.

o My 2 pieces, “Dreaming of Iris” and “Dew Drop Dazzle” were accepted into Campbell Pottery “In the Garden” juried art show from 6- 22-19 thru 7-21-19. Reception on 6- 22-19. The juror was Amy Hahn, past director of stonewall gallery and creates award winning one-of-a-kind, hand-cut stained glass mosaics.She was educated at Columbus College of arts and Kent University. my first attempt and acceptance to get into the original titled Lily Festival exhibition was in 2004 and I have been accepted 16 times in a row thru 2019. 12 times in “lily festival show” and 4 times in “in the garden show”.

o show opening for invitation only “The Essence of Art: Pattern and Color” exhibition at Campbell Pottery with 84 works by many artists, including a number of NPAA people. opening reception on 3-30-19; show closes 4-28-19; I submitted “Cello Bits” and received 1st place, “Radiant Warrior” and “Slow Moving” were also included. I sold Cello Bits and Radiant Warrior on show opening in the morning. There was a monetary award for first place. The exhibition was juried by gallery staff .

o Greg juried the “Patricia S. Yahn Juried Student Art Show” at Penn State Behrend. Greg handed out 9 awards on 03-08-19.
